Satchell Itb inlet manifold

Recommended Posts

Need help quick please:-)  I’m fitting some jenveys to my gti6 engine and they have the satchell inlet manifold which uses the standard fuel rail with the standard fuel pressure regulator. What do we do with the small vacuum hose that comes off the pressure regulator that normally connects to the standard inlet manifold? I know spiky had this set up but I can’t find his build thread .

Thanks in advance

Pretty sure you leave it disconnected, certainly the one on a recent car I sold was not connected

Isn’t there a barb on the manifold? Depends how your ecu is setup for fuel mapping. I always keep the fuel pressure relative to manifold vacuum. Thus connect the manifold, regulator and MAP sensor all together.

Just leave it off, without a plenum the signal would not be even, vac only taken off the pump for brakes.

No map on my itb install.

To do it properly you need a vacuum block, where the vacuum of each runner is added together.

Thanks for all the input guys it’s much appreciated. I emailed satchell last night not really expecting a reply and at 9:30am this morning they replied telling me to leave it open vented. Good service from them getting back to me so quick
