Do you have a homologation cab?. I figure you call it S200? Noticed the extra inforcement in door space ore do you build from a regular 205?

Anyway it seems to be a100% true replica!?

Yesterday was like wayking up from a wonderfull dream and realise its raining outside….always.

I have seen a true replica and hats off!!!

Nothing else to do than go back to ones own saltmine and continue working.

Brakes are done. Audi A8 discs and calipers with homemade brackets. I will probably weld the brackets to the hub later. Its mockup discs, I have freebased the Subaru pattern on the Audi discs.

The right way to go is to change the hub pattern to Peugeot. Then its possible to change weels between my cars and it looks more correct.

Tomorrow I will do the final welds on the rear frame.

Nice job, with this removable part, maintenance will be more easy…

i’m amazed how you mix all different brand, with at the end all working parts together…

Todays work…. Final weld of rearframe. Next decision is how to mount the drivetrain. From start I planned to have it solid but now I leaning towards polyuretan instead

Thanks Cedrik and Wicked! EWP it will be!

I have recived the parts for gearbox and diffs and testfitted them. Some struggle with angel for left rear inner driveshaft witch get to big angle. Could move engine more to the right but this is not good fore weight balance. Could also raise the topmounts on rear suspension but it require som heavy welding on the tubular frame. I will search for more flexible driveshaft for starter. The one I got is from VW rear syncro.

Im searching for some suiteble polyuretan buchings to build engine mounts. The diffs probably will be solid. Have a hardyplate to rear diff and to the front the center driveshaft is flexible with cv joints and rubber mounted halfway.

Dont want to many vibrations from the engine though its not a 100% racecar. Also wants to go shopping icecream on holydays…..
