Louise 0 Posted May 25, 2022 I was wondering if anyone could identify a mk1 fusebox from these pictures, I have 3 boxes but not sure which ones are mk1 and mk2.
309SRiguy 15 Posted May 25, 2022 The black board does not have the AA socket in the top right corner. My XU5 1C in 309 SR has a blank socket but without the two blades fitted - for carburettor. My XU5 JA in 309 SRi has the AA socket with two blades fitted - for injection pump. The two boards at the top will be for injection models. The bottom board will be for earlier carb. models. I assume this applies to the 205 models also as the engines were common for 205 and 309. 205 reference numbers found here http://www.miamistu.co.uk/pug/GB/205F/6/65H01A.HTM
309SRiguy 15 Posted May 26, 2022 I have looked into this a bit more since my post. This 205gtidrivers.com link has comments about the early 205 boards. The 12 fuse black board seems to be pre 1986. Maybe your two 14 fuse boards with AA socket are 6500 12. Can you find any OEM numbers on the boards you have? They will be in a " xxxx xx " format such as the " 6500 12 " listed above or sometimes 650395 such as in jimmi's post. Searching 205gtidrivers will bring up many posts about the 205 fuse boards. They might give you some leads to identify which boards you have. ( and also problems that can arise with them) Wiser heads here will hopefully be able to clarify the identification for you. SRDT 175 Posted May 26, 2022 The black board is for early models and probably even the GTI as the fuel pump fuse wasn't on the fuse board at first. One thing to note about the black board is that it was also used on the BX but it's not clear if it was the same part with a Citroën part number or a variant with different internal wiring.
