Hi,

I need a full set of 4 CV boots for my 309 gti drive shafts.

I'm having trouble finding the outers in particular.

Does anyone know if they are the same as 1.9 205 Gtis?

Thanks

Matt

Identical to a 205 1.9 bar the length, which is why they are the same part number so that wont help...

AUTODOC should have something, I've  also found gkn on ebay

I'll take a look at Autodoc.

Thanks

GKN = Loebro = Spidan - all the same boots (GKN) but in different boxes and often sold at +/- different prices between the three .

Failing that , go for : SKF , Sasic or Wurth (Wurth universal boots) .

Be aware that if you have Rzeppa CV joints (OEM 120 hp and up) the boots might differ from the ones that are fitted to many aftermarket driveshafts, since those mainly use tripod CV joints at the wheel end. The Rzeppa ones can be recognized by the additional cage in the joint and consisting of 6 (or more, memory is foggy) balls in the joint. Also the whole joint comes off the shaft whilst the tripod joints often don't.
