Distributor Vacuum Unit

Hi. Looking to get a new vacuum unit for my distributor. EBay have one that looks the same and it is a VW SVDA 034 for £16.50. Has anyone tried this unit and does it work. Looking at some of the threads on here, someone did say that the VW ones work on the 1.6gti engine.

My 309 runs the XU5JA (B6D), the same as 205 GTi with LE2 Jetronic.

 

I purchased a Bosch 0237009063/076  which was the recommended part for that engine.   Purchased from    http://www.ignitioncarparts.co.uk

 

It works well.

 

Not sure about "VW ones"  That 034 might have different specs.
