No Spark at Startup

Hi there

New to the forum and completely stuck with a problem starting. Car is a 1989 1.9 Ph1.5. Initially the problem was that it would start but then stop. I eventually got it going by removing the sensor to the AFM and kept the revs high in order to get it back in the garage. Since then, I have:

1. Replaced AFM

2. Replaced Distributor

Problem now is no Spark right back to the HT lead on the coil. In 2012, the dizzy wire connecting to the ignition control module had the plug removed and the wires were soldered together to fix an intermittent starter problem. I have put in a replacement OEM cable and connector now from Dizzy to ignition coil

Also, I found a 5pin relay that had replaced the fuel pump relay. The blue wire from the ECU and thick Green wire to the ignition coil had been cut and were not being used. Pics 2 & 3 - When you turn key to last position before starting, you can here the fuel pump on constantly.

I have got a new fuel pump relay and connected all of the wires back up Pic 4

Pic 1 shows my Ignition Coil connections. The thick green wire from the fuel pump relay is soldered to the wire from the ignition module.

Now I get a really strong engine crank over but no spark. I'm pretty sure it's the wiring. My question is does anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking it's the way the wires have been connected to the coil but also the fuel pump relay doesn't 'click' when the key is turned. The other relay did so is it possibly the ECU or thick green wire now going to the fuel pump relay?

Any help greatly received. Next step will be automotive electrician but I desperately want to fix this myself.

Cheers

Andy

Wrong relay fitted ... clearly someone's been messing around with the wiring .

Need to have 7pin relay on Jetronic 205 , so called "tacho relay" :

Thanks for the reply DamirGTI. Yep, last pic shows the new tacho relay fitted. It's now the right 7pin relay and the blue ECU wire and Green 112A? wire are now connected. Is it the wiring at the coil that's wrong?

@DamirGTI Do you have a pic of your ignition coil wiring so I can compare to mine?
