Thehud 0 1 Cars Posted October 24, 2021 Hi, I’d like to keep my car as original as possible but there’s a few small mods I’d like to carry out, one of which a more lowered look. can I just go ahead and add Eibach -30mm on the front and leave the rear as-is, or should i make an adjustment to the rear too? cheers
jord294 92 Posted October 24, 2021 Adjust rear to suit aswell. Budget in rebuild of the axle if you have no history of beam being apart in a while. If you're local to North Wales, then axle lowering is a service I can offer if you are not confident yourself
Connor 1 Posted October 24, 2021 Hi, On my GT model I have the 30mm lowering springs at the front and a standard height at the rear with a refurbished rear axle and it looks good. I think the cars were always a little bit lower at the rear anyway so to my eye it balances it out a bit. Cheers
Thehud 0 1 Cars Posted October 24, 2021 Cheers. Yes I’ve seen people just doing the front and that’s what I’m thinking. Thanks pal.

I’ve been given a recommendation for someone else in North Wales that does Axles fit if / when I need it.

I thought your name was Jordan from your display name. My good pal John from Chester said you’ll be the only person I should need, you’ve done work on his grey GTI6.
