ok,

Anybody any top tips for what could be wiped/sprayed onto the block and head to stop the Aluminum white fuzz developing. My engines been in about 18months now and is starting to corrode and fuzz up. I don't want to paint it otherwise I'd have done that when I built it.

The car lives outside so storing it over winter isn't an option either!

Cheers guys

I've treated the bare aluminium parts with some clear coat.

Probably a bit late for that now its fitted and a bit dirty. I know bike people spray various substances to protect their casings etc but im not sure how well they work.

 No idea really

I always spray WD40 on a cloth and wipe it over the areas as required.

ACF-50 may or may not be of use to you, i've used it on my motorbikes in the past and it worked quite well, just don't apply it then 5 minutes later go to drive as you'll notice a funky smell wafting your way.
