205 XS - Impossible to find or in with a chance?

Hello,  I am new to the forum (and what a pain the sign up process is! jeeeezz!)

 

I am on the prowl for a 205 XS, i used to have one as my first car many moons ago and have always fancied another.   I can find GTI's without a problem but its the XS that I really want.  Has anyone seen any for sell recently and what are peoples thoughts on actually being able to find one?

Hi, my dad has just passed away and has a 1983 205 Gt (same as xs believe but British marketed car). It has always been run and is a really nippy little thing. It's not perfect (heater needs replacing but blower still works) and drivers door has dropped a little and needs rehanging/setting. I know GTIs sell really well but GTs, XSs seem really rare so am struggling to find a decent valuation for it. What would you look to pay for a car like this?
