ECU EXTENSION CABLE

I want to move the placement of my new ecu from under the bonnet of my 205 to inside the glove box. As it stands, the ecu plug wont reach into the car but I  note that Emerald do an extension cable to facilitate  this  Has anyone carried out this ecu movement and if so, how did you get the extension cable through the bulkhead as the existing OE grommet is too tight to fit anymore wires through it. Any info or pics greatly appreciated.
