bacardincoke 42 1 Cars Posted December 9, 2020 Picked up some yellow front spot lights (the glass is tinted, not the bulb within) and put yellow glass caps on the headlight bulbs to match. Both can be easily changed back to standard so not an issue however I was wondering what's the current position when getting the car MOT'd... one, other or both UK legal / illegal? Spoke to an examiner at the official test center and they were non-committal, said they'd personally pass it as it's generally more relaxed when it comes to older cars. Helpful but didn't come across as a definite 'legal' to me. Anyone recently fallen foul of having yellow lights at test time?

Simes 248 2 Cars Posted December 23, 2020 It’s legal as long as both headlamps run the same colour white or yellow. 1
