rev counter mod

anyone know who on here i should contact to make me up a rev counter mod loom?

 

can't bring myself to pay what spoox want for one lol.

What do you need the converter loom for? 

 

If it’s to connect it to the tacho output of an ECU, then it’s easier to make a small mod to the rev counter.

Yeah its to get the rc working with gti6 ecu. 

I've looked at loads of threads and was going to make one myself but the min quantities from rs mean I'll have loads left over that ill never use..

Just thought someone might already have the bits who'd be willing to make one up for me.

You don't need to use a converter at all if you mod the rev counter.

 

Just connect the ECU tacho output to the rev counter signal wire (a quick search shows this is pin 42 on the ECU) and it'll work.

 

I have a modified rev counter that I was using with a DTA ecu until I wen for a digi dash if you really get stuck.

I did the same, took a feed to the Rev counter plug behind the dash from the ecu output on the DTA and it works a treat.
