Chasing Cabin Leaks

Recommended Posts

Connor

Hi Everyone,

Well after my GT filling with about three inches of water back in February, and me running the car with no interior since then, my parents have had enough and want their back room free of old car parts. I've sorted out the leaking rear window seals, but the big one seems to be coming from somewhere above where the steering column goes through the bulkhead, since the foam that remains in the car around there is always wet. The front passenger footwell is always dry, but the driver and the rear right footwell regularly gets soaked.

I've ran the hose over the car a few times now and never manage to get any water to enter the car. The two channels just behind the front wheel arches seem to run free too.

Anyone know of any spots worth checking before I take the whole dash out?

Cheers

Connor

Check the seam sealer from the strut top mount to the bulkhead/scuttle panel
