BBM lighter crank pulley? Pros cons? vernier for cam?

Hi there guys!

 

Please any experience on BBM lightweight pulley from pug1off shop? 

 

Is it worth placing lighter pulley on standard 75kw with slightly "sharper" cam (smthng like PH1 fast road cam I think, dunno exactly which one is there)

 

Also I got tip (in other topic) to buy vernier pulley if upgrading cam, and as car already has some sharper one, may I buy also a vernier pulley for cam, to properly setup it?

You definitely need a vernier pulley if you're upgrading the cam. More importantly, skim the head as well to get 10:1 CR. I wouldn't buy a new pulley for an 8V.

spooks is pug1off or...? I wasnt yet looking at original and all other shops and prizes, etc....I am from czech, so I looked to preferably order stuff from one shop and was looking overall for what is accessible to buy...

 

but overall I am asking more about functionality, quality of brand etc and if buy or not

 yea man from u was that advice, so vernier is sure on list, thx! head skimmed little already, so we will be good I think in this way for now with vernier

 

why not that BBM pulley, what is big CON?

8V already has a single piece pulley. The difference in rotational mass will make no difference to the performance of the engine. Money is better spent on a 3 angle seat job.
