matty 4 Posted July 19, 2020 Recently picked up this 205 after seeing it for sale locally on Facebook. Been off the road 10 years and sat in a garage. Only done 81k! Cosmetically and structurally better than expected when we went to have a look at it. Needs outer sills and the lower part of the front doors repairing due to some corrosion but other than this couldn’t find too many issues in the usual places. It’s pretty straight and the paint was surprisingly good! It was a non runner, having now replaced the fuel pump it starts and runs. Doesn’t want to idle once it’s started to warm up so will need to look at this. Quite a long list of mechanical work needed by the looks of it. Brakes all round, full service, cambelt etc. All the hoses have gone pretty hard / poor so will need replacing, plus I’m sure I’ll discover more once getting into it! matty 4 Posted August 28, 2020 Had the wheels off to be refurbished. Centres with the polished finish. New tyres on too. Currently off having new outer sills and a few bits sorted on the bodywork. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
