Tom1990 1 Posted July 7, 2020 Hi guys, A few friends and I have just launched a YouTube channel. We all have interesting motors which we will discuss and have plans to review other special cars. Mines a 205 GTI and I plan on restoring slowly, uploading general review videos and ownership experience. I couldn't make it out properly but is the rear valance under the bumper off a standard 205? It didn't look like a GTI one in the few glimpses I got of it. Tom1990 1 Posted July 28, 2020 Thanks guys! Having a lot of fun with the car, and my friends recording youtube content. The valance isn't correct on the car - i have a silver one which needs painting and putting on - on a long to do list haha - mostly cosmetic!

Dazzellbrush 0 Posted January 9 That YouTube channel sounds like a great project! While restoring my project car, I started dabbling in video creation a few years ago. Editing can be a time-sink, especially when figuring out what works best or how to make content look polished. What helped me was using tools with beginner-friendly features and having effects and ready-made templates that are easily accessible, which means focusing more on the car restoration and less time stressing over the video itself. garaza37 0 Posted Monday at 01:29 PM I understand what you mean about editing being a time-sink when creating content while juggling a project car. I've been in that spot when I used to document my motorcycle restoration project on video. Finding the right editing tools made a difference. It took me ages to edit my first videos because I was trying to do everything manually. Once I switched to software with templates and effects, it cut my editing time in half, letting me focus more on the restoration.
Dazzellbrush 0 Posted Wednesday at 01:55 PM (edited) Editing while balancing a project like a car restoration can get overwhelming. I’ve been there, too, when I was helping a friend document his truck build. We started off trying to edit everything manually, and it was exhausting. Hours would disappear just trimming clips and figuring out transitions. What made things easier was finding editing software that was simple to navigate and packed with useful features, like templates and effects, that saved so much time. I came across tools like: https://www.movavi.com/ during that phase, and they’re great for beginners. The ready-made templates and drag-and-drop options mean you can focus more on your content instead of stressing over every detail. You might find it helpful too if you’re juggling restoration and video creation! Edited Wednesday at 01:56 PM by Dazzellbrush
