1989 Phase 1.5, Cherry Red 1.9 GTI

 

Anyone have any knowledge of this car?

 

Currently owned by myself... came with quite a bit of history, however all but one of the known previous owners cannot be traced.

Apart from getting some info. on the car, the other reason I'd like to find any old owners is that this ring was wedged between the rear trim / arm rest area when the car was being stripped.

 

Seems to have been there quite a while and even it's not worth anything, may be of sentimental value to some one, it's possibly a childs judging by the size.

Going to bump this in the hope it rings a bell with someone...

 

All of the possible leads I had through old phone numbers and addresses amongst the paperwork the car came with have unfortunately come to nothing.
