Cam/Rocker Cover Bolt Seals?

Hello

 

I am getting oil coming up past the right hand (dizzy end) top bolt that helps to hold down the cam/rocker cover on my XU5J and it is making a mess on top of the cover! Should there be some sort of seal between these bolts and the cover as I have not had this issue before?

Put a copper washer between cover and bolt
