Heat shield for exhaust manifold DIY

Hi Fellow members,

 

After reading Bacardincoke's post about the exhaust manifold and that it has holes for fixing a heatshield and Damir-GTI's photo of a heat shield for the exhaust manifold that was used on other models and it perfectly fits our manifold, I decided to visit the local junk yand and get myself some material... See photos.

Then after measuring and cutting a few times, I made an exhaust manifold heat shield that looks quite good.

I have fixed it on the left, middle and left lower bolts. On the right side I chose to chop holes for the Air Intake Box bolts to fix them directly on the manifold. I could have mounted them on the heat shield too.

That was my fun activity for the day
