possible to use passenger seat drivers side?

Hi all, I'm sure this is a stupid question but i need to ask it! I'm having difficulty finding the correct leather for 1.5, my drivers seat is at the upholsterers and is frankly buggered! I can locate a good/decent passenger seat, so im wondering if this can be fitted to the drivers side and is it possible to somehow swap the tilt mech aorund?

You cannot alter the seatbelt and tilt easily but what you can do is make a good seat from 2 by swapping the good covers over onto your drivers seat frame. An easy job for a competent trimmer.

Thanks Tom, I had a feeling the seat belt receiver would cause an issue.

I did manage to swap my seats around by changing their sub-frames. I took my driver's seat out as it was so worn I had to refurbish it. IIRC the tilt knob was on the wrong side, but I could still just about adjust it. Not that I needed to once it was at the correct position.
