Pug 205 GTi wiring loom

Hello I hope everyone is well !

While on this lock down I have had a little time on my GTi and come to rebuilding the dash area and reinstalling the carpet, pedals RHD I have noticed this little yellow plug dangling that has 2 yellow wires going into it does anyone know what it is and if it should be plugged into something

Not needed on the GTI, it's for the choke switch on the lower models that used to use it.

Did you take any more photos of when the dashboard was apart? I've taken mine apart and just want to see the best routes for some of the looms so they don't all hang down everywhere.

I have many pics but I have a LHD car.

These to was taken from internet few years ago and they helped me to tidy up the instrument panel area.

Ta, useful to see the dashboard loom going under the heater control bit. Also notice the bit of plastic on the main dash panel that goes below the white heater control part has broken off, just like mine.

These pics are very helpful cheers , struggling to get everything  to fit behind the dash , looks like I have my dash clocks wiring keeper round back to front too .

Just out of interest are all the looms the same on all models GTi, XS, Diesels etc?

No I think you need a gti loom to fit a gti engine etc . Some parts of the looms will be shared though I guess.
