Ashman 9 Posted April 5, 2020 Probably a question for the competition boys and girls I have a fibreglass tailgate fitted to me sprint Pug and I have never been happy with the way I fitted it - nasty clips and hooks at the top and rubber pull up type bonnet fittings at the base. It has always worked well and is dead easy to remove, but it looks a bit gash! Any pics on the best, neatest solution for fitting and can you use the standard top hinges on a flimsy glass tailgate? Any advice much appreciated Thank you Ashley
andy0075 9 1 Cars Posted April 6, 2020 Hi, yes, you can use the standard top hinges. Andi
Ashman 9 Posted April 6, 2020 That looks neat. Is that a single skin tailgate and did you bond in captive nuts/bolts for the hinge to work and position correctly? Ashley
