Canadian dave

Hi all. It's been along time. About 13 years I think. Anyway I use to go by york dave back then and I built a fast road mi16 powered 205 back in 2006. I still have it and brought it over to live with me in Canada sometime in 2009. I hope this will work. But here is a link to the old build.

A couple of years ago I made it road legal over here and have been very much enjoying it ever since. It has run a couple of hill climbs in largely the same spec as it has always been in. And is now getting turned back into some what more of a road car due to me having kids and mortgages and all that good stuff that gets in the way of racing.

Anyway, I have been redoing the dash and now the braking system and I am in need of some parts. So if anyone knows where I can find a complete brake pedal assembly, including brake pedal, servo, mounting, and reservoir (I will get a new master cylinder). Then please let me know.

I will attach some pics if I can figure out how.

I like the wheels, I'd have to get the bonnet painted though.

Yep. It has still the yamaha R1 carbs and the fishies on the valve cover. It's actually stood up to the heat really well. Just a couple of cracks around a couple of the bolts.

That looks like you've made it in photoshop and got the scale wrong!

I'm out in Canada too, what did you have to do to get it legal over here?

I'm in Alberta.

Nothing really. It's more than 15 years old so no emissions test. Just a general mechanical inspection to ensure it was safe.

Hi Canadian Dave, hope one day after this lock down ends to drive my toy and visit you in Vernon! I buy all my service parts from Europe and shipping is not bad. I have the 205 GTI and my son the 106 GTI.... . I am from Surrey.  He told me once on a traffic light, a guy got off his car to go and ask him what is that car :-) !  I know what you mean about driving around trucks here
