That's the wiring coming from the distributor and going to the ignition module, do you need the yellow one, the black one or both?

Be very careful with connector and both wiring ends of that cable , as the main engine motion sensing signal goes trough it ..

Any breaks or loose connections on that cable or it's wiring on either side will leave you with both no spark and no fuel .. effectively creating no start condition .

It's like triggering magnetic/hall crank or cam sensor on newer cars , just this one is "pick up" type from the distributor with the cable connection to the ignition module . (pick up coil is inside the distributor and acts like mini low voltage alternator)

Check the part number on your distributor so that you can find the corresponding yellow plug and wiring part number here:

http://www.miamistu.co.uk/pug/

You can also fix it using the plug and shielded cable from a crankshaft position sensor:

As for the black plug I think it's called a bosch EV1 3 pin female connector.

Correct !

Crankshaft position sensor or knock sensor cable with connector can be used to fix distributor signal cable .

Last time i used knock sensor cable and it works too ...
