Looking to buy piston rings for my rebuild. I would like to use goetz brand. I have put my car spec into ebay and it keeps saying this does not fit your vehicle. Does anyone know the part number for a 205gti 1.6 piston ring set. 1989

You have two to choose from Goetze .

 

Moly (Molybdenum coated) :

08-322400-00 MOL-P-CR

 

Chrome (Chromium coated/plated) :

08-151200-00 CR-P-CR

 

Chrome variant are cheaper , Moly just a little bit more expensive per box .
