Romb 0 Posted December 3, 2019 SEVE is supposed to be some kind of limited edition, 1 Google source states 1 out of 150 but couldn;t find anything more on those SEVE's. Anyone know what sets the SEVE's apart ? https://www.autoscout24.nl/aanbod/peugeot-205-gti-1-9-seve-airco-1e-eigenaresse-37-446-km-benzine-groen-3875905f-8c95-42b0-971a-8e587dd7fc73?cldtidx=
Alan_M 66 1 Cars Posted December 3, 2019 Seve Ballesteros the golfer? Looks like a posh Gentry to me, rather than a real GTi.

True, it also has aircon, 40k worth of it :-P You're right on the golfer, his name is in one of the pics just noticed. Pretty random for a golfer to get a limited edition GTI :-) Edited December 3, 2019 by Romb
Romb 0 Posted December 3, 2019 (edited) and just read in a forum that it's indeed a gentry with a sticker on it, a guy who owns one says it has a 1.9gti motor detuned to 105hp. + airco, colour, wood inside etc makes it pretty much a Gentry. 40k is pretty steep if you ask me (at least in our current time frame) Edited December 3, 2019 by Romb

The sun-visors were a much sought after 'upgrade' part for GTis some years ago, along with the heated mirrors. Fairly sure Gentrys had different 15" alloys too. SRDT 175 Posted December 3, 2019 The Gentry had the 405's 14" alloys but painted Aztec gold and used the 1.6 drivetrain except for those with ABS Brakes. You can see the wide front track with the 1.9 alloys.
