Gearknob for 1.6 gti

Mine's cracked and needs replacing - the actual black rubber part - not the top bit.  However, it is a 1.6, so has the recessed numbering on the top part, and this has a slightly different fit into the knob than the smooth 1.9 tops.  I cannot seem to find a replacement part that will accept the original 1.6 "recessed" top - all the ones I can find appear to be for 1.9s.

 

I would like to keep the original 1.6 top.  Anyone have any ideas?  (Tried superglue - didn't work!!).

For the benefit of anyone else searching this in the future - I managed to find one from the Peugeot Museum online shop - delivered for approx £40 and fits perfectly, including my original "1.6" top.
