205 GTi Doner Engine + Transmission + ECU

Have a Peugeot 206 Coupe 2.0 Ltr Petrol 2003 for sale... £690....

 

RFU Engine Type.

Runner, but engine has a slight miss fire, which could be coil..?

 

Only 81,000 miles.

I was advised that the engine + transmission + ECU / Wiring fit straight into a 205 GTi, and are sought after. If anyone could advise if this is correct please..? If yes, can anyone recommend the best places to sell...?

You were advised wrong I am afraid. The EW engine can be made to fit, but it is by no means a straight swap. The wiring is not viable to convert due to the later 206's being multiplex, this doesn't transfer well into a 205. The engine and box worth about £100/150 if you can find anyone that wants one.
