Wax injection bungs - To paint or not to paint?

Quick piece of advice please.

I’m about to paint the floor pan of my car and the only thing that I’m not sure about to get the OEM look is regarding the wax injection bungs in the front and rear wheel arches. 

As standard did Peugeot overpaint the outer parts of these seals, just leaving the middle part unpainted or where they inserted after painting and under-sealing, therefore totally unpainted? 

I have seen a mix of options on different cars, with the majority having the bungs overpainted, but was not sure if this was due to aftermarket lack of attention to detail.

I've just fitted a complete set which is the wheel arch ones and the 2 in the rear of the arch near the bumper mount. I've not painted mine just fitted them without overpaint.

I thought they were under sealed and then painted,
