Also managed to move the ecu inside the car which is nicer, but under the dash is now very tight with all the wiring going in under there.

Well after 4 years and 3 months of ownership i am actually getting to the good part of driving her.

Took her for mapping a week or so ago, cams a bit too lairy and the injectors were maxxed at 120bhp so made a decision to stop mapping, fit a milder cam and bigger injectors then take her back.

I have all the parts now but since she is mapped enough to be driveable i have today taken her for MOT.

First time ever driving her properly (beyond turning round in my garden). Found a few niggles to fix bit nothing major and she sailed through MOT.

She was last on the road in 2009 several owners ago.

Will probably have one more update in a couple of months when she gets the new parts and mapped again.

Looks awesome, how you getting on with it now? A black gti has come up local to me and I'm so tempted to buy it!
