Citroen C4 lighting issue

Had a reverse light fault pop up on the dash of my C4 e-hdi the other day combined with the strobing daylight driving light on the same side (drivers) when headlights were switched to off. Went and switched out the bulb this afternoon, fault code now cleared but still no reverse light on the drivers side and the daylight driving light is still flickering like mad when headlights set to 0. 

 

Anybody got experience with these that can provide a suggestion? I’m assuming faulty/loose wire somewhere. Would rather switching the daylight running lights off all together if possible than go hunting for a dodgy wire as I’m swamped with a million other things at the minute.  Still have the reverse light on the nearside as well so drivers side isn’t critical at the moment.
