Federal 595 RSR on 205 GTi?

Hello,

 

has anyone of you tried the Federals 595 RSR tyres (195/50/15) on a 1.9 GTi? Can you tell me anything about acceleration, handling, etc compared to other sportive tyres?

Someone told me that the Federal is something between an Ultra-High-Performance and a semi slick and that de acceleration is not as good as a "standard" tyre. Is that true?

are they not the tyres where big cracks appear across the tread? do some research before buying them.

 

I'd be looking at Yoko AD08R if you want performance on a road tyre/car if i was you.
