Does anyone know roughly how much the master cylinder needs spacing/angling by to allow it to clear the gti6 rocker/cam cover?

thanks

Varies from car to car some need hardly any at all others need a fair bit. Same with exhaust clearance. Best off dropping it in and taking it from there.

Do you not want to shave the cam cover?

iirc there is quite a bit of meat on the cover where it needs to come off.

If I can angle it up to clear the cam cover I would rather do that

loads of options, angle the engine, lower the engine, re-angle the servo, shave the cam cover etc.

Best bet is get the engine swinging on top and gearbox mounts then see what clears where and make a decision.

Thanks, i'm aware of the tilting engine idea however i'm not personally a fan, i'd rather keep the engine in its intended position. I plan on re-angling the servo.

Cheers

As James said each car is different which never helps, some fit with very minor adjustment, others are a right pain in the ....

Fit the engine in without the M/S fitted, fit it and see what needs adjusting
