Leather Seat resurfacing/refinishing

Recommended Posts

I've just fitted a new bolster cusion to my drivers seat, now it's firm again the leather surface is looking somewhat ropey. I haven't got the money currently to have the seat professionally repaired, so I was looking into the repair products on the market for filling and repainting. My only concern is I have no holes but the leather is worn down to the suede. I've been looking at this kit:https://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Repair_Kit

but I'm struggling to find much info about if that system can be used for reconalising or if not how the surface can be repaired before the area can be repainted. Has anyone had success. If it lasts 2 years il be happy, I just want to smarten it up
