Main Torque

Hi guys,

 

I am changing main bearings on My 2.0 iron block mi16.

 

The book says

Stage 1: 35 nm

Stage 2: 70 nm.

 

Do I loosen between stage 1 and 2 ? Or is it first 35 and then 70? Just to be absolutely sure :-)

Yes, first 35nm,second 70nm.
