Justin181 1 Posted June 24, 2017 Thanks gaz.. no everything has just crumbled when i removed the bumper.. so from that picture .... am i right in saying the bracket slider bolts onto the bumper with the one rectangled head bolt.. and then the big rubber bung piece bolts to the bracket on car? And then u slide the bumper on?
Gaz205 50 Posted June 24, 2017 Yes mate, you need a flat headed bolt that goes through the bumper and through the slider and secures that to the bumper. Then the rubber slips inside the other end of the slider, but with a 'top hat' and bolt hex bolt inside that which in turn holds one end of the support bar. The exploded diagram once you get your head round it is quite simple. PM Tom Fenton on here he supplies a lot of the parts
Justin181 1 Posted June 24, 2017 Ok mate kool ive just had a look the slider and the rubber and metal sleeve inside it are rotted to pieces! So im gonna need new sliders and rubber kit
Gaz205 50 Posted June 24, 2017 I see you have a lot of wanted ads, it might be worthwhile placing one long one with everything on as more people might respond to 'loads of parts wanted' You'll get there !
