Put it all back together big problem now wipers stop half way up screen I used a 106 wiper moter I was told these are a straight swop. ? Any way I then put old wiper moter back in just in case they might be different but I've still got same problem when turned of they stop half way up screen any idears? Is there a set up procedure it must be something I've done. Any idears

you need to move the arm on the motor to the appropriate position.

Yep, as Mei says - you've attached the arm onto the incorrect position/angle on the motor.

Chances are what you did was move the arm from the old onto the new motor in the same position, but the new motor wasn't in the park position so it moved.

Check the state of the linkages/spindles as well if you haven't already done so, as often the slowness issues stem from the spindles rusting and seizing up rather than the motor.
