Fitting A Safety Devices Co44 12 Point 205 Challenge

I'm looking for a bit of info about fitting ones of theses cages, I brought a brand new one last year and have just got round to fitting it in the car. My issue is the mounting to the rear beam mounts, the cage dont sit flush so I can fit the nuts, this leads me to the mounts of the rear cage it's like the there two long and holding cage to high or can I work the floor area for when I weld in the mounting plates so the cage sits down about a 1mm, I will let the photos explain a bit more.

These are the other mounts that make the cage sit higher, when I fit the mounts I could try and sit them into the floor a bit to bring the rear down.

If that wouldn't work then all I can think off it the rear beam mounts are welded to fair round the tube as they do look a bit pissed.

I'd get the feet fitted and then loosely assemble the entire cage before trying too hard to bolt it up. They can take a bit of wrestling in!
