Vin Plate Rivet Size

Could anyone confirm if a 4mm rivet is the correct size head to refit the VIN plate to the inner wing of the 205. I've been tasked with obtaining them and the chap has suggested that is what size it 'looks like'

I have a feeling that they're slightly smaller than that, 1/8" if I remember correctly. There is a little bit of room on the plate to drill them out a little larger, that's what I ended up doing.
