Front Spring Recommendations - Dturbo

Recommended Posts

Nobbly

Hi All,

Seeking a mild drop and tighten up the handling on my 205 DTurbo, I have a pair of Bilstein dampers to go on, but am wavering between standard GTi springs, Eibach pro-kit (E7001-120) and standard diesel springs. I don't want it on the floor, it is to be a daily driver.

I have read that the billies will raise the front (?) so I am thinking the GTi springs coupled with the extra weight of the XUD lump will result in a slight lowering?? Or do I go for the -25mm ish Eibachs.

Any experiences out there, I dont want to waste any £££ and have to do the job twice!!

Thanks, Nobbly

7001's will be a bit low with a TD lump if you're only looking to mildly lower it - standard GTi springs work well though, lowering a little and stiffening things up a touch.
