I don't know the guy, but I agree with his comments on the gearbox, 125,000 miles on and it is still sweet for me, feels like stirring soup but at same time very slick and precise, no noticeably worn syncro's etc.

 

Maybe many won't have watched the clip because of the subtitles, but my own TV has the subtitles on all the time (my hearing is fine) just I like them and feel your brain processes more information this way. Now I'm rambling but what specifically about the car do you think makes lift off oversteer so inherent in the 205 compared to other FWD cars? With the 205 you have to be a little bit brave and keep the throttle down and drive it through the corner, slow in, fast out... but the same is true with the old Mini.... legendary handling? you think so? it has, but it is also utterly nervous approaching 100mph and beyond and will swap ends just as easy as a 205. You need to be even braver to drive a Mini quickly...

 

Don't you find it is inherent in all FWD cars? If you unbalance a car mid corner then what do you expect it will do?
