Davidsw 4 Posted January 25, 2017 Good afternoon People Im at the exciting stage after any months well nearly . Just before fitting radiator I wanted do check I have a spark and fuel . Well I have nothing lol . The car is late L430 RAC 1.9 gti . I have a small yellow relay next to the cars ecu and three relays in a box next to the radiator expansion tank . I fitted all of the connections under the bonnet as far as I can tell . ( lamber sensors were not on at the time ) when I tried last . I would love some advice on where to,start first as I'm bouncing around . The engine management light is on when I turn it over . I cannot hear the fuel pump and I have no fuel and no spark . I may need a new yellow relay as it does look like it has had some heat on it the plastic is brown in areas . I'm near high Wycombe if any one is about . Davidsw 4 Posted January 25, 2017 Hey toolie , I rushed home from work as my brain was hurting and I basically had the crank case disconnected . I still need to replace that yellow relay under the dash as my one is crusty. So I shall fit the exhaust radiator and run the engine . I have sprayed under neath the car with the exception of the boot I have to chage a patch welding repair to a but weld repair. Then off to the sprayers back to fit new running gear and then ready lol . I replaced the inner wings and sprayed the engine bay in my workshop .
