205 Gti6 45Mm Jenvey's And Emerald

Recommended Posts

Bigrooter

Hi just wondered if anyone could help as just about to fit jenvey's and emerald ecu to my 205 gti6. The parts are s/h and come with loom ready to plug into a 306 with 55 pin connecter. The problem i have is I did my loom to the guide on here for stock induction and ecu etc no probs, but now need to somehow adapt this for the mentioned. Does anyone have any diagrams or been up against the same problem. Many thanks

James

Asking for problems by the sounds of it, I'd just buy a new loom (Not allot) and then you'll save on mapping costs (With the mapper not mucking around fault finding), With no doubt not the best 306 loom trying to connected it having had one pretty much the same dropped off last week for re-liability I just got a new loom, Even 306 looms are old now

You don't need a new loom, just spend some time going through your loom and label the wires. Your throttle body loom will only meed to be plugged in to the bodies and ecu, give it an earth, 12v feed and a switched 12v, job done!!

Have you got photoa of what you got

Thanks for the replies guys. This is what I have plus the usual 205 gti6 loom from before I removed the standard inlet and ecu etc.

Cheers, nothing wrong with loom. I just need to adapt it to marry up with part of my 205 gti6 loom for starter and alt. This was from a gti6 in a 306 if you get my flow. Maybe someone has a diagram been up against the same? I'm good with wiring etc but if anyone's been here before there knowledge would be a benefit to me....

I think I've got a pinout of a late 306 multiplug somewhere, but to be honest, you'll find it just as quick to bell it through with a multimeter to work out what's what.

I'd dispense with the 306 stuff totally and make your own sub-loom for the auxiliaries, remove the uneccesary extra connectors, plenty of pinouts and diagrams showing the brown plugs you need to connect to.

As above ditch the sensors and start again, Mind with the above I'd still make sure that the 306 connectors have not been badly connected to the ECU loom, See this quite often where people are trying to save money but they have been fitted with new, The connectors are dirt cheap and more joins mean more points of failure.
