Widing A Peugeot 205 Xsi

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I'm sorry if this question was discussed before, i'm brazilian and i don't have so much english skills to search properly to find what i'm looking for.

My car is a Peugeot 205 XSi, and i am building a track car, but in Brazil its really difficulty to find PSA parts, like GTi, Mi-16 or 309 parts. 309 never been imported to Brazil.

I have a XU9J4, an BE4 gearbox and a complete Peugeot 306 Rallye suspension setup, just waiting to be installed.

The 306 rear suspension are wider than the 205 XSI, my question now is how can i wide the front suspension without using spacers, low ET wheels and don't letting the camber too much negative?

My idea was to use drive shaft from 306 rallye too, just to avoid breaks.

And

The 306 rear axle will not fit with out a lot of work the basics custom made mounts and the rear inner arches tubed and wide rear outer arches.

None of the front 306 suspension will fit other than the dampers and hubs but the hubs don't really work on a 205 as they add to much positive camber, you can look at 309 but that will only give you 11mm per side on the front otherwise you are into custom made..
