Has anyone tried fitting boxer or jumper calipers to а 205 hub? AFAIK they are two piston calipers (2x40mm) and can be used with 306 GTI discs (283mm), and maybe pads (again from 306/clio).

Not sure about what wheels and offset can be used, though.

quite unlikely anyone has, they're heavy, bulky and no performance pads available, pads are 15mm longer than a gti6 caliper.

pistons are 48/40 on most.

And

You can get pads for any thing tho all you need is the back plate out line for them and likes of questmed will do the rest for you, the pads I run are not off the self, as long as they can get a back plate they can make them and as most they have there road range to dig into for the likes of mintex.

But as Mei says why would you they are a poor brake set up any way and some of then have slider issue any way but that could be just the later ones, there are better options out there.

Well, thought it was some cheap brake upgrade, but the overall weight becomes too much. The caliper weighs more than 8kgs without pads, 206 Bosch caliper (earlier type) is about 7.4kg with pads.

Guess I will be staying with my 266mm setup, DS3000 and motul high temperature fluid.
