Please Help Me To Find My Old 205 Gti

I am in need of some help here.

 

One of my favourite 205 GTI's I owned was back in 1997. It came up for sale in 2010 but my girlfriend at the time would not let me buy it saying that I had to put money into doing up the house. It only made £870 on Ebay.

 

Trying to find out where it is now as I believe it has not been taxed since the Ebay auction in 2010 so wondering if she is still alive or has been broken?

 

The reg is..... G940 RTU

 

If anyone knows where she is that would be fantastic..... Or if someone has it and is a member on here then I will buy it no matter what condition for top money.

You could enquire with dvla but you may need a lawful purpose

As Gaz205 says, there is a form you can get from DVLA and it costs £5 IIRC

 

If you have a good enough reason they'll provide fully history of owners.

 

You never know, they might be sympathetic if you lay it on thick and play a violin ????

Showing as SORN so might be still out there. I know they changed how long a SORN lasts recently though.

the car is showing as insured on the mid database

Doesn't help you much though as it is more than likely insured in a garage but not used
