Throttle Body Heater

Hi all, hopefully not too daft a question!

I'm installing the GTi-6 in my 205, can I get away without utilising the Throttle Body Heater?

Am I right in assuming it's like the sad on the 8v engines?

The car will only be used for competition so would be fully warmed up before use!

if its on a standard loom and standard inlet just leave it alone.

Yeah, I'm using the standard engine look and ecu from the gti-6

Can I do away with the additional plumbing as the plastic outlets have been broken
