Hi all is it possible to fit a 106 gti 1.6 16v engine in my 205 gti? Would this conversion be worth doing. Thankyou.

Can it be done, yes. However the MA gearbox is known to be weak. And for arguably less work you can put a GTI6 engine in there instead which will give another 30bhp out if the box.

Well the thing is ive got a peugeot 205 gti with i blown engine and i friend has a 106 that his walled. Can i get i BE box that would fit a 106 gti engine?

Yes you can, might be cheaper to get a lsd for the ma box, the ma box is ok upto 155-160bhp, its torque which really kills them.

Ive got i lsd for the be box. If a run it with the ma box what shafts should i use and what hubs?
