Battery Drain From Stereo

Recommended Posts

Oberon

On looking into why my battery (pretty new) is dead after a few days of non use, it appears I have two permanent lives going to my alpine head unit.

I need to manually turn it off after switching off the ignition.

One of the lives SHOULD be a switched live to red wires, this is light blue no. 29b. The other is white goes to the yellow wires no.13b.

The wiring doesn't appear to have been butchered in the past.

Any ideas/help appreciated.

Anthony

On the fuseboard there's two positions for the single spade blue switched wire to go - one is switched, one is constant. Check that and correct if required.
