Couple Of Brown Multi Plugs Questions

Recommended Posts

allye

I've got my loom pretty much tied up and I'm happy with it apart from these couple of queries.

1) I've got a red 74a on the 6pin plug I can't seem to find any information on?

2) my loom doesn't seem seem to have a 32a tachy relay at all? Not hugely concerned about that as it unused.

3) 46b blue, now I have a fairly heavy blue wire from the 6pin but no marking and the other end goes to a yellow plug and I can't quite make out if it says 46/8? I know terrible photo bit this must be it right?

Many thanks

74 is for an engine management light and 46 is the starter solenoid.

Ahhhh that's right, remember reading about the k light, obsolete then.

I'm aware 46 is the starter just trying to ascertain if that is the correct one!

Yes that's 100% right, the yellow plug goes into the fuse box. On some 205s wire #46 is on pin 9 of the larger brown multiplug rather than pin 6 of the small one but when that is the case it is swapped with wire #2 (switched 12v+) which is usually red.
